Who we are

outdoor.cards is a personal project operated by an individual based in the Netherlands. This website provides a curated discovery platform for outdoor destinations, national parks, hotspots, creators, routes, books and films worldwide.

What data we collect

If you choose to activate the Vault (our personal notebook and favorites system), we store your email address and any notes or saved cards you create. This data is stored securely in our database and is never sold or shared with third parties.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and site performance. This service is privacy-friendly, does not use cookies, and collects aggregated and anonymized usage data.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us directly. We will respond within 30 days.

Third party services

We use the following third party services:

• Google Maps — embedded maps for location display. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Vercel — hosting and analytics. No personal data is collected.
• Supabase — secure database for Vault user data.

Affiliate Disclosure

outdoor.cards currently does not use or contain any active affiliate links or partnerships. All recommendations, books, and resources are provided purely for informational and inspirational purposes.

In the future, we may participate in affiliate networks (such as Amazon Associates or bol.com) to help cover the server and hosting costs of this platform, allowing us to earn a small commission on purchases made through our curated links at no additional cost to you.
